Melina Velba Bikes And Bras

Look, look, watch and ... draw!

Many times after looking at my paintings, it happens that some friends and acquaintances say, "Eh, I'm not able to draw. I am just denied! ".
I must dispel this myth, I think drawing is something I can do everything. Think about when you pick up a pen and a sheet and put you to write a sentence (try to) you will see on paper arms, curves, circles and dots that follow each other on the sheet ... and you can not draw? The writing is complicated and is nothing less than a draw.
Why then many people who can write say they do not know how to draw? I think the real problem is that they do not know to look, or better not look at things to draw.
If someone asks us to draw an eye, generally we draw a symbol, the plan represents "the object eye" which is more or less a design that repeats all the same. This is the way to draw people who do not watch.
Now try to put you in front of a mirror and look at your eye (say the left ...) and begin to observe it: follow the lines of the eyelids and see how the curve, and the angle formed with respect to two imaginary axes x and y Observe how the iris is partially hidden by the eyelids, followed in short, your eye in every detail without thinking that is an eye, because if you draw should be only one set of lines and chiaroscuro. If you can not think that you are drawing an eye and if you can prevent your brain to suggest the names of the parts of the eye, everything will be easier and you will see line upon line that slowly will form the design of your eye on the paper. Of course, it is not easy and I know that there are exercises that make learning easier to draw it. But this was just a taste, just to see if he can interest to somebody.
If someone wants to try and tell me What do you think makes me happy.
