Nancy Drew Icicle Creek Wii Shoveling Pond

Yoga by Swami Rama Sandra

Swami Rama was born in India in 1925 and was raised by his spiritual Master in the legendary caves of the Himalayan mountains, where it is still practiced a method of teaching in which knowledge is handed down from master to student for over 3,000 years.

For three years he held the post of Shankaracharya of Karvipitham (high office is similar to the Pope for the Catholic religion), who left to serve humanity. He dedicated himself to the study and research of psychology and Western philosophy, to compare and find new points of synthesis with the oriental culture and science.

addition to being a philosopher (he has to his credit as many as 45 books) and a poet has left his mark in science.
In 1970 he underwent investigations of Western science visiting the Menninger Institute in the U.S., but he was also an expert in homeopathy and Ayurvedic medicine.

He founded the Himalayan International Institute of Yoga Science , creating a four-year Medical Citadel, one of the best hospitals in India, the first hospital in the world where they meet the eastern and western medicine and where he established a new university for doctors and school nurses.

In 1996, when he was preparing to leave his body, he left strict instructions not to build any sacred place, or do anything to commemorate his name.

Laris has published some texts of this great yogi. Below are a few steps short extracts from his book "Yoga, the sacred science."

mind, the difference with Western psychology

"The ancient yogic psychology explains that the mind has an immense capacity: if you can control it and keep her from the distractions and the waste of energy, it can regulate and direct in the right direction. The psychology of yoga is a complete science and so deep that can be understood only through the practice, or just storing the Yoga-Sutra. The method of Patanjali is thin, accurate and deep and I believe that if psychologists could understand and adopt modern methods of subtle insight of Patanjali, could offer a great service to society. Unfortunately, the curriculum does not include the practice of psychologists who teaches cross the borders of the conscious and unconscious, allowing you to become aware of the soul that is the true purpose of life. The psychology is concerned with the conscious and subconscious mental life. With the help of the analysis and treatment, the unconscious content can be brought to light, to the conscious mind, where it can finally be addressed and coordinated. Contrary to modern Western psychology, the science of yoga include in his study of conscious and unconscious mind also the soul, like the very source of the mind and its modifications. Without knowing the true Self, sva-rupa, you can not exercise total control of mind. "

Swami Rama

Man's nature is peace, happiness and joy

"Why aspire to earn heaven after death if the kingdom of God is within us? Try instead to find the realm of peace here and now, within you. You can succeed when, after understanding the various aspects of chitta, you learn to discipline yourself. The third sutra says: tada drashtuh write-rupevasthanam. When you have achieved control of the mind and its mo-
amended, exist as seers and sages or consistently experience your inherent nature. At this point you are no longer students who need to practice the disciplines but true essays. The visionaries are those who see things as they are and not let themselves be swept away by the reality that they observe. Who has a clear vision does not identify with the objects of mind is not disturbed by external stimuli
, the seductions and temptations of the world: it is simply a witness of events. For example, if a neighbor dies, you go to visit her family and, as a sign of solidarity, you begin to cry with them, show solidarity, but inwardly you will not be disturbed by the death because you know its meaning. The confused people identify with the objects of the world, but you will know how to see objects in the world as they are, and while enjoying them, you will be immersed in your true nature ".

The river plunges into the ocean not coming back

" When he arrived at the stage of samadhi, the researcher is free from identification with the objects of the world and identified with in its essential nature: it has become unoyogi. His mind, actions and words will be guided by the pure consciousness and therefore will not commit more errors, it can damage, injure or offend anyone in any way. Be creative dynamic and seconded
and may understand the meaning of life. Once you reach the highest state of peace, restlessness will not be touched in the world. Many of you are wondering if, once you reach the samadhi, can still lead a double life. Of course! Even all the great rishis and all the visionaries, with the exception of a few lucky, they were married and had families. These u-mini
all lived long and were important Masters. It is not easy to remain bachelors or practicing celibacy. Adopting the philosophy you can reach the samadhi and simultaneously lead a family life. Five of my teachers were married men. "
